Football club FK "Šešupė" is an amateur football team from Vilkaviškis district. Founded in 2000, the team has already participated in many different tournaments in Lithuania.

Just formed in 2000, FK "Šešupė" won the third place in LFF II lyga (3rd level of Lithuania football), South Zone Tournament on its debut season. Only Lithuanian grandus of nowadays - Marijampolė “Sūduva” - and Kybartai “Sveikata” were above FK "Šešupė" that season. A year later, our team remained fifth at the same league. Since 2009-11-10 FK "Šešupė" is the member of Marijampolė county football federation.

In 2010 the team played in the Federation’s South Zone Championships and took fifth place.

FC "Šešupė" nature of the activities are rather broad. Club organizes football matches and training sessions for children, sports camps and other sporting events. Other activities are organization of tourism, sports and healthy lifestyle workshops and more.

Club "Šešupė" has its own board meetings regularly conducted. The Club maintains open communication with Čyčkai community, media and fans.

The club is proud of its boys and girls teams. Children attend training sessions and try to reach the "heights of football". Both boys' and girls' teams often play friendly matches, participates in tournaments and events organized by the Lithuanian Football Federation.

The strategic objectives of the club are the increase of a scale and the professionalism of football, the education of football culture, purposeful leisure of children and youth. The Club tries to return veterans from the TV screens to the sports courts and stadiums. The club desires to bring families to spend spare time doing sports, active camping, playing football. Our goal is that football, healthy lifestyle and the family would become an integral part of life.

The club is constantly looking for partners for joint children camps in Lithuania and other countries.
